Alabama State will be losing one of its premier offensive weapons as wide receiver Kisean Johnson announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal Thursday afternoon.

Johnson caught 61 passes for 829 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023, earning first-team All-SWAC honors for the Hornets, who finished 7-4 this season. In parts of four seasons at ASU, Johnson has caught 104 passes, collecting 1,487 yards and 11 touchdowns.
