6ix9ine Signs $5 Million Deal for Livestream Concert

6ix9ine has scored a major payday.

The “TROLLZ” rapper continues to thrive following his release from prison. According to TMZ, Tekashi has signed a massive live-streaming deal with GlobalStreamNow to the tune of $5 million for a virtual performance.

Tekashi, who will be off house arrest in the coming days, will host the concert on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. EST. He is scheduled to perform 12 songs off his upcoming album during the hour-long show, which will feature “lots of eye candy, dancers, a live band, and colorful displays.” He will also interact with fans through the app. Tickets cost $6.99.

The streaming platform is banking on Tekashi’s huge social media fan base, with 24 million followers on Instagram. His first Instagram Live session following his release from prison was watched by over 2 million viewers and his music videos have received hundreds of millions of views.

Tekashi has been working on a new album as part of his multi-million-dollar deal with 10K Projects. The project, which is set for release in the “near future,” has already spawned a series of singles including “GOOBA,” “YAYA,” and the chart-topping “TROLLZ” with Nicki Minaj.

6ix9ine is nearing the end of his home confinement, and is taking heavy measures to ensure his safety. He has deactivated his Instagram account in the days leading up to his release because his legal team is concerned that he might mistakenly leak crucial info about his whereabouts.

He has also beefed up security by hiring 22 former law enforcement officers and will be transported around town in five bulletproof SUV-like vehicles.

“Picture the noise I’m gonna make when I’m outside,” he told fans.
