Shadow and Act is excited to announce our upcoming podcast, Opening Act. News of the podcast broke following our 2021 Sundance Film Festival panel “Rising: Reflections from Young Black Hollywood.”
Opening Act is a podcast hosted by Shadow & Act’s Deputy Editor, Trey Mangum. Each week, Trey sits down with some of Hollywood’s biggest talents to discuss their introduction into film and television. On Opening Act, actors recount stories from their very first auditions and gigs, whether big or small, and share how these opportunities and experiences made them who they are today.
