Congratulations are in order for Gayle King‘s daughter, Kirby Bumpus, and her new hubby Virgil Miller.
During Monday’s “CBS This Morning,” King revealed that her daughter and Miller tied the knot during a private wedding ceremony in December at Oprah Winfrey‘s California Estate. She went on to explain the hardships of social distancing at a wedding.
“It’s tough to see your daughter get married and not be able to hug.”
The broadcast journalist also shared that her son and the bride’s brother, William Bumpus, Jr., officiated the ceremony, which was only attended by four guests; King, Bumpus, Jr., Oprah, and Steadman.
The new Mr. and Mrs. announced their engagement in February 2019.
