During her appearance on “Ellen” on Monday, Jhené made the announcement when asked how she planned to celebrate her upcoming birthday. “I have a special thing that I’m working on. It’s the 10th anniversary of my mixtape, Sailing Soul(s),” she said. “So I’m working on getting that together to put out to my fans on all streaming platforms.”
It’s unclear when the project will be available, but it could be as soon as this Friday, March 12.

Sailing Soul(s) was originally released on mixtape sites and SoundCloud on Jhené’s birthday, March 16, 2011, and featured collaborations with Drake (“July”), Kendrick Lamar (“Growing Apart Too”), and Miguel (“Hoe”). Her debut album Souled Out arrived three years later.
Jhené, who contributes the theme song for Raya and the Last Dragon, is now nominated for three Grammys for her latest album Chilombo. She will host the Premiere Ceremony prior to the 63rd annual Grammys on March 14, which will stream live on Grammy.com.
