North Carolina A&T hoops adds JUCO All-American Love Bettis

North Carolina A&T basketball added yet another JUCO standout to their roster after getting a commitment from Love Bettis.

This is the second player from the junior college ranks to commit to the Aggies. Guard Kam Woods, a member of the 2022 JUCO champion Northwest Florida State Community College, announced he was committed to the program last week.

Bettis played at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas where he averaged 14.8 points, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals over two seasons.

He is considered an excellent shooter from deep compiling a 3-point percentage just shy of 40%.

During the 2020-2021 season, Bettis helped lead Coffeyville to a 27-3 record and an NJCAA national championship.

This past season, Bettis was named to the NJCAA Division I All-American second team leading his team in scoring with 18.1 points per game.

In addition to the two JUCO guard commits, North Carolina A&T also added three-star class of 2022 guard recruit Tyrese Elliott.

With the additions to North Carolina A&T’s backcourt, the Aggies could be a fascinating team to watch next season.
