Nick Cannon will soon be taking on a new hosting gig, taking over Beat Shazam temporarily for Jamie Foxx.
According to TMZ, the Wild ‘N Out star is being brought on as a replacement host for the hit series. TV personality Kelly Osbourne will replace Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, as the musical show’s DJ.
This news comes a few weeks after Foxx was first hospitalized due to an undisclosed medical emergency.
Corinne Foxx revealed her father’s hospitalization on Instagram, writing, “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
As of this writing, it is unclear when Foxx could possibly return to work as updates regarding his health have remained under wraps.
