‘Mending The Line’ Trailer: Sinqua Walls And ‘Succession’ Star Brian Cox In Film On Unexpected Friendship

The first trailer for Mending the Line starring Sinqua Walls and Succession‘s Brian Cox has been released.

Directed by Joshua Caldwell and written by Stephen Camelio, Mending The Line was the opening night film for the 2022 Woodstock Film Festival and the Valor Award Winner for the 2022 San Diego International Film Festival.

Starring Nanny and White Man Can’t Jump actor Walls, the film chronicles a PTSD-ridden veteran who sparks up an unexpected friendship with a fisherman and librarian.

The official description is as follows: “Mending the Line is a story about finding something to make living worthwhile. John Cotler, a wounded veteran, returns to the States still carrying the demons of war, hauntingly disturbed by the everyday expectations of friendships and love interests. In Livingston, Montana, he meets Ike, a surly, headstrong fly-fisherman more than twice his age, and Lucy, a talented photographer turned librarian who reads aloud to veterans, both struggling in their own way. While getting treatment for his wounds, both physical and psychological, Colter wants only to re-enlist, to have something to die for. But the real challenge is finding something to live for.”

Aside from Walls, Mending The Line also stars Cox Perry Mattfield, Wes Studi, Patricia Heaton, Chris Galust and Irene Bedard.
