*Is bad blood brewing between father and son, again? The LAPD is looking into allegations of neglect regarding the care of ‘Good Times’ star John Amos and the investigation is just getting started.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that a case has been opened to investigate claims made by Amos’ daughter, Shannon. She recently called Adult Protective Services to allege her father’s health issues were not being properly addressed by her brother, K.C.

Sources indicate that APS received a report based on Shannon’s claims and forwarded it to the LAPD, prompting an investigation.

The LAPD is reportedly familiar with the ongoing disputes between Shannon and K.C., but the focus of the investigation will be on these new allegations.

Back in July 2023, EURweb reported that Shannon’s representative stated K.C. had been removed as John’s medical power of attorney. Shannon also demanded that her brother cease making false statements that harmed her reputation and business.

Shannon emphasized the importance of removing K.C. as medical power of attorney for her father’s safety and family’s well-being.

In a recent development, TMZ learned that John was briefly hospitalized for a routine checkup, assuring them that nothing serious was wrong. However, it remains unclear if the police are aware of this visit or if it is connected to Shannon’s allegations. Nonetheless, both John and his representative have consistently denied any neglect claims.
