*All we’ll say is make of this NY Post report what you will and keep in mind that VP Kamala Harris uses Beyoncé‘s “Freedom” as her theme/hype song for her presidential campaign.

Andrew Makadsi, the creative director of Beyoncé’s entertainment company Parkwood, is facing criticism and backlash after being accused of sharing antisemitic statements on social media.

The allegations arose following the dissemination of posts by StopAntisemitism, a Jewish advocacy group, drawing attention to the offensive content posted by Makadsi.

One post attributed to Makadsi called for the death of all Zionists and their followers, accompanied by disparaging and inflammatory language towards individuals linked to Israel.

The sharing of this content, alongside instances of comparing Israeli political figures to historical figures like Hitler, has raised concerns and condemnation from various quarters.

Makadsi’s social media activities, including sharing critical content related to Zionism and Israel, have come under scrutiny. The presence of symbols and messages associated with violent organizations like Hamas has added to the controversy surrounding his online presence.

Despite the exposure and public outcry, Makadsi has made his social media accounts private and has not publicly addressed the allegations or comments. The situation has led to questions about his role at Parkwood Entertainment and the response of the company to the unfolding controversy.

Born in Lebanon and having relocated to the US, Makadsi has been associated with Parkwood since 2016. While the company has yet to issue a statement in response to the accusations, individuals have raised concerns about the impact and influence of individuals in positions of power within entertainment companies.

As calls for accountability and reflection grow, many are looking to see how Beyoncé and Parkwood Entertainment will address the allegations, maintain a commitment to inclusivity and diversity, and handle the fallout from Makadsi’s online statements.
