DNC: Barack And Michelle Obama Take Turns Dragging ‘Whining’ Trump While Pushing Messages Of ‘Hope’

Considering the mounting evidence of his cognitive decline, Donald Trump just may have confused Tuesday night’s headliners at the DNC for a tag-team wrestling match on which he was on the wrong side.

And who could blame him?

After all, former President Barack Obama and our Forever First Lady Michelle Obama effectively took turns dragging him and his name in vicious speeches that also pushed messages of “hope” as they both urged Americans to elect Kamala Harris as the nation’s next president.

‘Do Something!’ Michelle Obama Delivers Iconic Call To Action At DNC

Michelle Obama gave her speech first, firing shots at Trump — too soon? — over his childish behavior that betrays his likely true motivation in politics: to further enrich himself and his wealthy friends.

But both she and Barack Obama specifically mentioned Trump’s predilection for “whining” and mocked the “golden elevator” on which Trump rode before announcing his initial presidential candidacy in 2015.

“We don’t have the luxury of whining or cheating others,” Michelle Obama said. “If we see a mountain in the way, we don’t expect an escalator to take us to the top.”

Speaking after his wife, former President Obama similarly clowned the Republican nominee: “Trump hasn’t stopped whining since he rode down that golden elevator.

Barack Obama chided Trump for the “childish nicknames” he like to bestow upon his political enemies and mocked Trump’s “weird obsession with crowd sizes.”

Noting that Trump’s “act has gotten pretty stale,” Barack Obama told the audience that “we do not need 4 more years of bluster” before launching into a brilliant cinematic metaphor.

“We have seen that movie before, and we all know that the sequel is usually worse,” Barack Obama said to raucus applause. “America’s ready for a new chapter. America’s ready for a better story. We are ready for a President Kamala Harris.”

The former first couple balanced the attacks on Trump with messages of hope for a better future.

“I’m feeling fired up,” President Obama began his speech optimistically, reviving his inaugural presidential campaign motto. “I’m feeling ready to go!”

Similarly, Michelle Obama wove messages of “hope” into her own speech.

It is “the contagious power of hope” that she said she and Harris’ mothers taught them that informs their desire to “vanquish the demon of hate.” Obama later added that “hope is making a comeback.”

Now, what are the chances Melania Trump plagiarizes that?
