Here are the top 5 HBCU band halftime shows from Week 4

The Aggie-Eagle Classic featuring North Carolina A&T and North Carolina Central was the event headliner entering Week 4 of the HBCU football season.

While the Eagles’ 66-24 beatdown over the Aggies wasn’t much of a football contest, two notable performances of the evening featured the bands.

And with the recent passing of R&B superstar Frankie Beverly still fresh in our minds, it’s no surprise that we are witnessing — and will continue to witness — halftime performances that will be dedicated in his honor throughout the rest of the season.

Below are the top five HBCU band halftime shows of Week 4.

4. Virginia State (vs. Winston-Salem State)
Performed at Rogers Stadium, Peterburg, Virginia
