Miles College owned Tuskegee on the football field and on social media

Having already clinched a berth in the SIAC championship game entering the final weekend in the regular season, Miles went on the road for a clash with Tuskegee, looking to finish unbeaten in conference competition for the first time since 2015.

The Golden Bears ultimately completed their mission, winning 37-7 over the Golden Tigers to finish a perfect 8-0 against the SIAC.

Miles has had great success in recent years against Tuskegee, and the school’s social media team wanted to make sure everybody knew.

In a Twitter post, the Miles Golden Bears page posted a picture of the stands in Tuskegee’s home field, with its signature ‘shed’ reading ‘Home of the Golden Bears’ and the Miles logo covering Tuskegee’s at midfield.

The jokes did not stop there. The caption read, “Since 2011, we’ve gone to @MyTUAthletics 7 times and won 5…three of them on Homecoming. “So, much like we own the AUC right now, we continue to own the deed on The Shed as well.

Miles will now look forward to its first SIAC championship appearance since 2021. There, it will face Clark Atlanta, which is looking to claim its first conference title since 2019.
