Here are the top 5 HBCU band halftime shows from Week 3




Week 3 highlighted several marquee HBCU events, which involved several stellar HBCU band performances.

The annual Southern Heritage Classic featuring Jackson State and Tennessee State was renewed after being canceled last year due to inclement weather.

Legion Field hosted the Battle for Birmingham Battle of the Bands, which featured all six HBCU marching bands in the state.

And those events don’t include the plethora of other halftime shows performed throughout the nation.

Here are the top five halftime shows from Week 3.

5. Tennessee State (vs. Jackson State)
Performed at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, Memphis, Tennessee

4. Arkansas-Pine Bluff (vs. Langston)
Performed at Simmons Bank Field, Pine Bluff, Arkansas

3. Alabama A&M (Battle for Birmingham Battle of the Bands)
Performed at Legion Field, Birmingham, Alabama

2. Jackson State (vs. Tennessee State)
Performed at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, Memphis, Tennessee

1. Stillman College (Battle for Birmingham Battle of the Bands)
Performed at Legion Field, Birmingham, Alabama
