Here are the top 5 HBCU band halftime shows from Week 9

Week 9 of the marching band season marked the final weekend of October. Most notably, it marked the last weekend of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Several bands during October did an admirable job of promoting awareness of breast cancer through their performances and even through their uniform attire.

But as one breast cancer survivor, who will remain nameless, stated on social media, “Just because the month is ending, don’t ever stop thinking of those who are battling, battled, and those who are gone. Breast cancer is an awful beast. Stay strong my sisters. Every day is a battle, but we must keep pushing.”

The battle to end breast cancer, or any other form of cancer, continues regardless of the month.
