Jhené Aiko and Big Sean Reunite on ‘None of Your Concern’

Jhené Aiko and Big Sean’s relationship keeps inspiring more music.

After lending her vocals to Sean’s “Single Again,” the former couple reunites on “None of Your Concern,” which also features vocals from Ty Dolla $ign. The two address the aftermath of their breakup and where it all went wrong.

“The audacity to question me like you ain’t leave me out here on my own / I was traumatized and suicidal / Sick and tired, I am not to blame,” sings a heartbroken Jhené. “Now I can say / Get your bitch ass off my phone / Please leave me alone / I am not your girl anymore / You need to watch your tone.”

Sean comes in at the end to share his side of the story. “No there’s not a day in these modern times you haven’t crossed my mind / We both crossed the line / Seems like I needed you more than I needed myself / Just like I always felt like cheating on you would be cheating myself.”

But he still has feelings for his ex. “But every time I lay down I think about you naked,” he sings before adding, “I made you cum nine times in one day.”

Jhené and Sean broke up last year, but remain friends. In May, Jhené dropped her “Triggered (freestyle),” which many believed was about her ex. “I know you all love the drama and would like to think everything i do or say is about him, but i’ve been through plenty of other things and situations that i pull inspiration from when i sit down to create a song,” she said.

Both artists have new projects on the way. Jhené is working on the follow-up to 2017’s Trip, while Sean is readying Don Life, his first solo album since 2017’s I Decided.
