Norfolk State atop band of the year poll with two days left to vote




Norfolk State University’s Spartan Legion currently leads all votes with only two days remaining in the poll for 2019 HBCU Sports Band of the Year.

At the time of this writing, the Spartan Legion has registered 33 percent of the vote (9,203 votes), followed by Southern (5,352 votes), North Carolina A&T (4,840 votes), Grambling (4,092 votes), Jackson State (1,895 votes), Florida A&M (1,622 votes) and Bethune-Cookman with 821 votes.

Voting ends Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 11:59 p.m. (CT)
