Candiace Dillard Bassett Of 'RHOP' Stars In BET Holiday Film 'The Christmas Lottery'

As you may have seen on The Real Housewives of Potomac, Candiace Dillard Bassett loves to get her sing on, and in a new BET holiday film, she’s getting her acting on too! She stars in the MarVista Entertainment film along with Asia’h Epperson, Brave Williams, Candiace Basset, Kay-Megan Washington, and Reginald VelJohnson.

The film, from executive producer Angela Burt-Murray, is also noteworthy in that it features the first major LGBTQ couple in a BET holiday film.

Here’s the description:

Family patriarch Gerald Davenport (VelJohnson) summons his feuding family home for Christmas with exciting news—he won the lottery! His youngest daughters, Nicole (Williams) and Tammy (Dillard Bassett), immediately fly home to see their dad and his winnings, but their older sister, Deirdre (Epperson), is annoyed it took their dad winning the lottery for Nicole and Tammy to finally come home. While the sisters argue over who has been the most responsible in taking care of their ailing mother, Diane (Washington), and the family restaurant, Gerald takes his time turning in the lottery ticket to enjoy some long overdue family time. However, when Diane misplaces the ticket and can’t remember where she put it, Nicole, Tammy and Deirdre must work together to find the ticket that could change their lives by Christmas Day. Will the sisters be able to put aside their differences in time to save Christmas for the family?
