*Adele has allegedly confirmed her engagement to Rich Paul after three years of dating.
The British songstress shared the news during her concert in Munich, Germany, on Thursday, in response to a fan who jokingly proposed to her, Page Six reports.
“I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married so I can’t,” Adele said.
According to Page Six, Adele wasn’t wearing a ring at the concert, but she was spotted last month sporting a large diamond on her engagement finger.
We reported earlier that Adele allegedly had the sports agent sign a prenup before tying the knot to protect her estimated $220 million fortune. Last year, Deuxmoi reported that Adele and Paul had already tied the knot. So, are they newly engaged or married? Who knows!
The Grammy-winning artist reportedly revealed her married status in 2023 at her pal Alan Carr’s comedy show in Los Angeles. One audience member told Deuxmoi: “I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted ‘I did’.”
Another witness added: “When he asked if anyone got married recently she yelled ‘I did’. Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended.”
Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki, with whom she shares a 10-year-old son, Angelo. According to The Blast, she gave up a chunk of her wealth after their divorce because there wasn’t a prenuptial agreement.
According to an insider, the prenup with Paul allegedly caused “some friction” between the couple.
Adele, 36, and Paul, 42, have been dating since 2021. The first sparked engagement rumors in February 2022.
