Alicia Keys Covers Post Malone’s ‘Congratulations’

Alicia Keys is giving Post Malone the cover treatment.

The R&B songstress put her soulful spin on “Congratulations” during Saturday’s iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. With help from her band, Alicia played the piano while rapping along to the 9x platinum Stoney hit.

“Now they always say congratulations / Worked so hard, forgot how to vacation / They ain’t never had the dedication,” she sang.

Wearing a neon yellow windbreaker, the 15-time Grammy winner also performed her new Miguel duet “Show Me Love” live for the first time at T-Mobile Arena. Plus, she thrilled with fan favorites like “Girl on Fire” and “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart.”

“Feeling electric!!! ⚡There was sooo much LOVE tonight!!!” wrote Alicia following her set. “We are connected like never before!! ???? Blessings on blessings!! Keep glowing.”

Keys is now working on a new album, the follow-up to 2016’s Here. “It reflects where I am today—the deeper acceptance I have of who I am as a full human being, the flaws, the pieces that I used to push aside because I wasn’t ready to embrace the anger or the fear or the crazy,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.
