All in Thee family: South Carolina transfer Shilo Sanders commits to Jackson State

The Holy Trinity of Jackson State football has been made official.

Shilo Sanders, the son of head coach Deion Sanders, has committed to the university ahead of National Signing Day.

“Pops said he needed some dawgs!” Sanders said in a tweet. “So I’m joining my brother to help change the game at JSU and level the HBCU playing field. #BIG21 #IBELEIVEJSU21”

In addition to joining his father, Shilo Sanders will play alongside his brother, Shedur, who committed to JSU in November.

Sanders, who entered the NCAA transfer portal on Monday after playing two seasons at South Carolina, is the latest high-profile transfer Jackson State has acquired in recent weeks.
