From the popular GEL-Lyte III to the more niche GEL-Mai, ASICS has always done a bang-up job when incorporating its signature GEL® technology into those intricately-designed silhouettes and even cooler colorways overall. Now, the brand is experimenting even further with its sneaker technology by introducing the GEL-Quantum Infinity — the first-ever ASICS model to feature a full-length GEL® midsole structure.
With the GEL-Quantum Infinity you get the most efficient performance kickback and optimal comfort, mainly due to the premium cushioned midsole mentioned earlier. The theme comes full circle with an “Infinity” imprint embossed in gold on the tongue and heel in Japanese Katakana characters. Other key specs include a brand new vacuum “no-sew” material on the upper, two-color gradation and premium gold detailing that makes for a clean design overall. As new sneaker designs go, these are a pretty fresh addition to the community that we’re sure will be a mainstay amongst ASICS aficionados.
The ASICS GEL-Quantum Infinity arrives for men in “Dary Grey” and “Shocking Orange” (seen above), meanwhile women will get colorways branded as “Icy Morning” and “Flash Coral.” All are available right now over at ASICS retail locations and online for $180 USD.
