*The United Kingdom has a rich history. Black History being an aspect of it matters and needs to be celebrated. One way or the other, Black History Month UK is celebrated in October.
The event which began in the US in the 1920s, was first celebrated in the UK in 1987.
36 years on, Black History Month is as popular and important as it was when it was first celebrated in the UK.
There are more Black and Asian Britons making inroads into the mainstream UK entertainment industry and more.
Black history celebration gives everyone the opportunity to share, celebrate, and understand the impact of black heritage and culture through creative arts and events for the young, old, and enthused.
