Shadow And Act covered the film in 2020, when director Hamisha Daryani Ahuja shared more about her film to CNN.
“I am Indian but I have lived in Nigeria my whole life,” she said to the outlet. “Everyone loves Bollywood and Nollywood, so I thought, ‘How is it that no one has done a love story between the two?'”
“…I wanted [the film] to be completely accurate,” she continued. “I wanted both cultures to be portrayed the same, that no culture was above the other.”
