If we’re talking about the trends from New York Fashion Week, then we’re also talking about braids. For the spring-summer presentations, fashion house, Alice + Olivia sent models down the runway in braids encrusted in prismatic pearls. Celebrity hairstylist, Ursula Stephens created a dominatrix look on models at Maki Oh with stylish bondage braids. And backstage at Ulla Johnson, hairstylist kept it pretty and playful with rope braids. Laurent Philippon, also worked textiles into tresses, creating fascinating fabric braids on models at Jonathan Cohen.
