D.C. Walk of Fame to Honor James Brown, Marvin Gaye & Others

Washington, D.C., is honoring several icons with their very own Walk of Fame. The new $400,000 project will salute artists who’ve performed at the famed Howard Theatre since its 1910 opening, reports WUSA 9. The Walk of Fame will clearly parallel the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, but instead of stars, bronze medallions and sculptures will be placed along a .1 mile walkway leading up to the theatre.
