DaBaby’s Grammy performance could have featured a cameo from JoJo Siwa.
The “Rockstar” rapper reveals that he invited the YouTube sensation to perform with him at Sunday’s show, but she was unavailable.

“I actually reached out to see if she wanted to perform with me at the Grammys, but I heard she’s somewhere working on a project of her own,” DaBaby said during a red carpet interview with “ET.” “I won’t say too much. I don’t want to put her business out there. She’s somewhere filming something, but I definitely reached out.”
Last month, DaBaby sparked controversy for seemingly dissing the 17-year-old star on his “BeatBox Freestyle,” which includes the lyrics, “Turn me up, ni**as gon’ see why / Ni**a, you a bitch, JoJo Siwa.”

DaBaby, who later clarified that it was not a diss, said that his 3-year-old daughter is a big fan. “That’s how I know who JoJo Siwa is, from buying all the stuff for my baby. We 1000 percent JoJo Siwa fans. We love her,” he said.
While JoJo Siwa didn’t join him, DaBaby was accompanied by Roddy Ricch for his performance of “Rockstar” at Sunday’s Grammys. DaBaby was nominated for four awards, but didn’t win any.
