Drake Congratulates Machine Gun Kelly on Album Release

Machine Gun Kelly’s new album Tickets to My Downfall hit streaming services on Friday.

Prior to its release, the Cleveland rapper was surprised to receive some kind words from the 6 God himself, Drake, who popped up in his Instagram DMs to congratulate him and wish him continued success. An excited MGK shared footage of himself reading Drake’s message.

“I’m happy for u g you are reinventing and look like you are genuinely enjoying it,” wrote Drake, “which is not easy to us I wish you the best with the new album you always been a real one.”

MGK shared his reaction after receiving props from the OVO boss. “that message from drake lowkey inspired the fuck out of me,” said MGK. “i appreciate the ?’s who share love and respect while we’re all still here.”

This is not the first time the two have shown love to each other. Drake brought out MGK at his show in Cleveland during his “Club Paradise Tour” in 2011.

MGK’s fifth studio album Tickets to My Downfall is available now. Executive produced by Travis Barker, the project features Halsey, Trippie Redd, blackbear, and more. Stream it below.
