Tuesday was a big day for Florida A&M’s football program after adding two three-star FBS transfers to its offense.
The first is former Coastal Carolina running back Isaiah Connelly, who transfers to the Rattlers with three years of eligibility remaining.
Raised in Florida, Connelly attended Edgewater High School where he was one of the top running backs in the state.
In his senior season, he rushed for 2,301 yards averaging 6.8 yards per carry and scoring 24 touchdowns.
Edgewater finished with a 13-2 overall record helping lead his team to the Florida state championship game.
In February 2020, Connelly signed on with Coastal Carolina where he played four games in two seasons, rushing for 94 total yards on 4.9 yards per carry.

The other three-star recruit Florida A&M added is former Kansas wide receiver DeVonte Wilson.
Also a Florida native, Wilson attended Munroe High School where he was among the top defensive backs in the state.
There he finished his senior season with 13 receptions for 335 yards and five touchdowns as a wide receiver. He also had reps as a defensive back recording eight tackles (six solo tackles), two passes defended an interception and a fumble recovery.
Originally committed to play for Ohio, Wilson de-committed and opted to play for Kansas in 2020. In his lone season with the Jayhawks, he did not play in any games.
