Fisk University gymnastics team qualifies for USA Collegiate Women’s Championships

The women’s gymnastics team from Fisk University has qualified for the 2023 USA Gymnastics Collegiate Women’s Championships.

The qualifiers from the team include Morgan Price, Aliyah Reed-Hammon, Kiara Richmon, Liberty Mora, and Zyia Coleman. The Lady Gymdogs will compete at the national championship, which will take place from April 6-8, 2023, at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas.

A total of eight teams will participate in the championship, with Lindenwood University being the top seed based on their overall National Qualifying Score (NQS). Texas Woman’s University, the reigning national champion, is the second seed. The remaining six teams are unranked.

The championship will start on April 6. Session One will feature Lindenwood, Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), Air Force, and Brown. In Session Two, Texas Woman’s University, Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO), Yale, and West Chester will compete.

Along with the team competition, individual qualifiers from USA Gymnastics member schools will also vie for individual national championship titles.
