Former 3-star FBS linebacker commits to Mississippi Valley State

The Delta Devils have added one of the best linebackers in the class of 2022 with the commitment of former 3-star linebacker Antwain Barham Jr.

Barham shared the news with the world via a Twitter post that read “Let’s Do It. Go Delta Devils.”

He finished a solid career at Milan High School in Tennessee that included a junior season in which he tallied 86 tackles,  three forced fumbles, and an interception. Barham then followed that with a senior campaign in which he recorded 65 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and three interceptions.

Barham was rated the nation’s 72nd-best linebacker and 30th-best prospect in the state of Tennessee by ESPN.

He had 11 Division 1 offers, including Tennessee State, Jackson State, and the University of Memphis. Barham committed to Memphis, and appeared in one career game.
