Max has dropped the first official teaser for Steven Soderbergh‘s new limited series starring Zazie Beetz, Jharrel Jerome, Sheyi Cole, CCH Pounder and more.
Here’s the official logline for Full Circle:
An investigation into a botched kidnapping uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day New York City.
The series also stars Claire Danes, Jim Gaffigan, Timothy Olyphant, Phaldut Sharma, Adia, Gerald Jones, Suzanne Savoy, Ethan Stoddard, Lucian Zanes and Dennis Quaid.
Full Circle is executive produced and directed by Soderbergh. Ed Solomon is a writer and executive producer, with Casey Silver also executive producing. The upcoming series is a reunion of the group who collaborated on the 2021 HBO Max movie, No Sudden Move, which Soderbergh directed.
Last year it was announced that Jerome would play a member of one of the crime families in the series. Jerome won an Emmy for his performance in Ava DuVernay’s Netflix series When They See Us.
Soderbergh recently directed Magic Mike’s Last Dance, which premiered in theaters, as well as Kimi for HBO Max, which starred Zoë Kravitz.
Full Circle will debut with two episodes on July 13. The six-episode series will drop two episodes weekly leading up to its finale on July 27.
