Halle Bailey Defends Chloe Bailey Against Online Critic: 'Girl Let's Not Start…Be Blessed!!'

Do not try the Bailey sisters! Halle Bailey does not play about her older sister Chloe, and a Twitter user found out the hard way.

The user tweeted, “I feel like Chloe Bailey is cute but y’all be overhyping shawty..”

When Halle became aware of the aforesaid tweet, Halle responded, “girl let’s not start… be blessed!! God loves you too!!!”

“If mess around and find out” was a person, Halle would be that person.

Halle may be the younger of the two sisters, but she stays on go mode. This isn’t the first time she responded to comments about her sister, Chloe.

According to Hot 97, when Matthew Knowles, Beyoncé’s father, spoke on the comparison between Chloe and Beyoncé, Halle dropped her two cents.

“Are you telling me someone is idiot enough to compare her to Beyoncé talent wise?, Knowles proposed. It’s a yes or no. Are there people saying her talent is equal to Beyonce? They’re an idiot, period. That’s actually insulting to Beyoncé. If you wanted to call out Barbara Streisand or some people like that…like come on, man.”

Halle responded by tweeting, “how amazing is it that @ChloeBaileyis already an icon..just popped in to say that ..”

Chloe and Halle Bailey form the Grammy-nominate group, Chloe x Halle. The duo rose to fame by covering songs on YouTube. Beyoncé would later become their mentor, signing the sisters to Parkwood Entertainment.

Chloe x Halle became a household name once the pair starred in grown-Ish. Their debut album, The Kids Are Alright, earned two Grammy nominations. Their second project, Ungodly Hour, was released to critical acclaim earning the pair another three Grammy nominations. These nominations included including Best Progressive R&B Album, Best R&B Song for “Do It” and Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Wonder What She Thinks of Me.”

Halle has a highly-anticipated lead film role in Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ coming up.
