Black College Baseball will take center stage in Houston once again.
The Cactus Jack HBCU Classic, a round-robin tournament that highlights HBCU baseball programs backed by rapper Travis Scott and the Houston Astros, will kick off the opening weekend of Division I college baseball.
Here is everything you need to know about the event:
The six schools participating in the event include Texas Southern University, Prairie View A&M, Southern University and A&M College, Grambling State University, Jackson State University, and Alcorn State University.
A highlight of the tournament will be traditional HBCU in-state rivalry games between Texas Southern and Prairie View A&M, Southern University and Grambling State, and Jackson State and Alcorn State on Saturday, Feb. 17.
How to watch games
All nine games of the tournament will be televised on Space City Home Network and available on the channel in the entirety of the Houston Astros five-state viewing area.
