HBCU football is here: Lincoln University (Mo.) faces Nicholls State under Friday night lights

Historically Black college football is back.

After missing all of 2020 due to COVID-19 interruptions, Lincoln University (Missouri) football will finally take the field against Nicholls State tonight.

The game will be an exhibition contest for Lincoln, who take on a Nicholls State team that was ranked No. 14 in the FCS in 2019.

“Grateful to be back on the field for the first time since November 2019,” said LU head coach Malik Hoskins. “Grateful to face one of the best FCS programs in the nation. I feel like this is an opportunity for this program to take a step forward.”

Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
