Here are the top 5 HBCU band halftime shows from Week 12

Except for only a handful of games to be played this weekend, Week 12 marked the final week of the regular season for most HBCU teams competing at the FCS and Division II level.

Week 12 also provided us with some traditional end-of-season rivalry games that included the annual Florida Classic between FAMU and Bethune-Cookman and the Capital City Classic (known to old heads as the Soul bowl) featuring Alcorn State and Jackson State.

As for HBCU band performances, this week’s top five list highlights an excellent selection of songs and some pretty creative formations.

Below are the top five HBCU band halftime performances from Week 12.

5. Alcorn State (vs. Jackson State)
Performed at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium, Jackson, Mississippi

4. Bethune-Cookman (vs. Florida A&M)
Performed at Camping World Stadium, Orlando, Florida

3. Norfolk State (vs. South Carolina State)
Performed at William “Dick” Price Stadium, Norfolk, Virginia

2. Jackson State (vs. Alcorn State)
Performed at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium, Jackson, Mississippi

1. Florida A&M (vs. Bethune-Cookman)
Performed at Camping World Stadium, Orlando, Florida
