In classic, comedy sketch show meets current events, Kim Wayans revived the role just ahead of the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 3. Popular for her saying, “Now, I ain’t the one to gossip so you didn’t hear that from me,” Miss Bonita shared the tea on everyone in the Hopkins Projects — including Miss Jenkins. But, more importantly, she urged people to ‘go vote.’

Directed by her brother Shawn Wayans, he told fans, “Here’s a message from one of my favorite characters from #InLivingColor.”

And, no Wayans production would go off without some hype from the Wayans clan. Little brother Marlon Wayans also added, “Y’all watch, share, post this HILARIOUS sketch by my sister #kimwayans directed by Shawn Wayans. GO VOTE! This is CLASSIC!”

With so many nostalgic Black TV shows airing again — from In Living Color and The Bernie Mac Show, to Family Matters and All of Us — it’s great to see what some of these timeless characters are up to these days.
