Is Drake Taking Shots at Kanye West with His Hoodie?

Is Drake reigniting his feud with Kanye West?

On Friday evening, the 6 God posted a photo of himself exiting his Maybach at a Lil Keed concert at The Novo in Los Angeles wearing a grey Cactus Plant Flea Market hoodie that reads “ye must be Born again.” Later in the night, he was seen wearing the same hoodie while leaving The Nice Guy in West Hollywood.

Ye is not only Kanye’s nickname, but also the title of his latest album. The “ye must be Born again” catchphrase has been interpreted by some as a shot at Kanye and his recent antics. After Drake posted the photo, social media called him out for trolling Ye, while some even thought it could signal the end of their feud.

Drake and Kanye have yet to publicly squash their beef. Last year, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper called out Drake on Twitter for threatening him and his family and dissing him on Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode.” Drake also accused Ye of providing Pusha-T with intel about his son that he used on his “Story of Adidon” diss.

“There would never be a drake without a Kanye west so never come out your mouth with a threat,” Ye tweeted in August 2018.

During an interview with David Letterman for his Netflix series “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” in May, Ye made reference to their rivalry. “An artist which I will not mention, because I’m not allowed to mention him or any of his family members…” he said. “We had a little beef last year.”

But the hoodie may be harmless. Pharrell and other celebrities have worn the same Cactus Plant Flea Market “Born Again ’19” hoodie. In January, Cactus Plant Flea Market told Hypebeast that the slogan is a biblical reference and not a Kanye nod.
