Jackson State All-SWAC linebacker Nyles Gaddy commits to SEC program

Former Jackson State defensive end Nyles Gaddy is heading to the SEC following an announcement that he is committing to Missouri.

Gaddy initially entered the transfer portal in December following Jackson State’s Celebration Bowl loss but soon took himself out of the portal before entering it again last week.

Transferring to Jackson State in 2020, he played two seasons with the Tigers, being named to the All-SWAC First Team in 2022.

This will be the former All-SWAC defender’s return to the SEC, where his college career began at Tennessee.

Gaddy now adds his name to the list of Jackson State transfers that landed at an FBS program in the offseason.

On that list alongside him is wide receiver Kevin Coleman (Louisville), linebacker Jurriente Davis (Texas A&M), defensive lineman Katron Evans (Charlotte), defensive back John Huggins (New Mexico State), offensive lineman Willis Patrick (TCU), and wide receiver Mark Pope (Massachusetts).
