Jackson State women gets a vote in AP Top 25 basketball rankings

Jackson State has separated itself from the rest of the SWAC.

The Tigers have established themselves as the class of the SWAC as they sit atop the conference with a 20-6 overall record and a 15-0 record within the league. JSU has stormed through the SWAC, winning by an average of 21.6 points per game, with only two of the victories coming by single digits and winning their last game.

On Saturday, the Tigers defeated Texas Southern by 50 points to clinch its fifth consecutive SWAC regular season crown.
