Kentucky State releases 2023 football broadcast schedule

FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky State football team’s broadcast schedule for the 2023 season has been unveiled, with the season opener set for Aug. 31 on the Kentucky State Sports Network.

The lineup for this season includes four games on ESPN+, three games aired by the Kentucky State Sports Network, and one each on HBCUGo and FloSports.

The season commences with a home game against Clark Atlanta on Thursday, Aug. 31, which will be televised at 7 p.m. on the Kentucky State Sports Network.

The following week, on Saturday, Sept. 9, the team will face off against Tuskegee at 1 p.m., also on the Kentucky State Sports Network.

An away game against Allen is slated for Saturday, Sept. 16, at 6 p.m., which will be aired on ESPN+.

The game against Fort Valley State is set for Saturday, Sept. 23, at 1 p.m., returning to the Kentucky State Sports Network for the broadcast.

The next game will be at home against Albany State on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m., broadcast on HBCUGo.

The team will play Grand Valley State away on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m., with the match aired on FloSports.

The broadcast details for the away game against Lane on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m. have not yet been disclosed.

The subsequent three games against Benedict, Morehouse, and Central State will all be broadcast on ESPN+. The game at Benedict is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m., followed by Morehouse on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m., and ending with a home game against Central State on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m.
