The report, obtained by the California Highway Patrol, states that Jared Black was driving Hart’s 1920 Plymouth Barracuda when he lost control, sending the vehicle over an embankment. Black, 28, was also indicated to have major back injuries, while the third passenger, Rebecca Broxleman, 31, only suffered from minor pain and was not taken to the hospital.
It is also noted that Black and Broxleman were trapped in the vehicle after the collision. However, the 40-year-old-comedian-and-actor was able to exit, where he then returned to his home seeking attention from his private medical staff. From there he was transported to Northridge Hospital. The 28-year-old driver was not found to be under the influence of alcohol and has also been hospitalized for his injuries.
TMZ has obtained footage of the accident scene and wreckage. They also report that Black had to be cut out of the vehicle and airlifted to UCLA’s medical center.
No statement from Hart’s team has been released. Our thoughts go out to the affected families and we pray for a speedy recovery.
