Langston men’s basketball adds two Division I transfers

Coming off their best season in school history, the Langston Lions men’s basketball team is keeping their foot on the gas in the offseason.

Langston continues to have championship aspirations after adding Division I transfers Marsei Caston and Majok Kuath to their roster.

Caston comes to Langston after playing a season at New Mexico State, where he played two games, averaging 2.5 points per game.

Before his time at New Mexico State, Caston played two seasons at Northwest Florida State College. In 45 games, he averaged 14 points on 46% shooting from the field.

Kuath, on the other hand, comes to Langston previously playing with San Jose State and Northwestern State for a season, respectively.

His best year was with San Jose State averaging 7.4 points and 4.8 rebounds in five games during the 2021-2022 season.

Kuath began his collegiate career at Hutchison Community College, where he played for two years. He finished with 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in 57 games.
