*Multi-platinum recording artist Maino is back with a brand new visual for “Vibe With Me.” For its release, the Lobby Boyz frontman partnered with YouTube to host a virtual AfterParty where he can engage with fans in real-time. To break the news, Maino shared a teaser of his dance-ready hit online, which sees him standing tall in a dark room spotlit by his diamond-encrusted necklaces.
“Vibe With Me” follows a tandem of releases from the New York giant, including the Jim Jones-assisted “Pressure” and guitar-laden “Best for Me” with fellow Brooklynite Fabolous. The Arizona Slim-produced smash invokes nostalgia while adding a modern twist to a classic sound and finds Maino interpolating Busta Rhymes’ 1997 seminal hit “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.”
Last Thursday (April 20), Maino took centerstage during the Brooklyn Nets playoff game against the Philadelphia 76ers. For Game 3 of the series, the Brooklyn MC performed his Billboard Hot 100 hit “All The Above” and his newly released score. His performance left fans, players and everyone else at Barclays Center pumped up for the second half of the game, with hopes of the Nets securing a come-from-behind win – which they failed to produce.
The crowd marveled at Maino’s showmanship as he lit up the court doing what he does best, rock the mic.
