Meagan Good and Snoop Dogg join Jamie Foxx in Netflix’s vampire-hunter film, Day Shift.

According to Variety, Foxx stars as a “hard working, blue collar dad who wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted 8-year-old daughter, but his mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income — hunting and killing vampires as part of an international union of vampire hunters.”

Fast 9 and John Wick franchise stunt coordinator J.J. Perry will make his directorial debut with the comedic film. Written by Tyler Tice with current revisions by Shay Hatten, also set to join the cast are Karla Souza (How to Get Away with Murder), Dave Franco, Scott Adkins, Eric Lange, and Zion Broadnax.

Day Shift marks Foxx’s third project with the streaming outlet. The 53-year-old actor starred in Project Power in 2020 and Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!; his latest sitcom starring The Jamie Foxx Show alum David Alan Grier.
