Mississippi Valley State releases 2020 football schedule

Itta Bena, Ms. – The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils released their 2020 football season schedule on Tuesday.

The Delta Devils open their season with road trips to Nicholls State on September 5 and Sam Houston State on September 12 respectively. MVSU returns home September 19 to celebrate the annual Trailblazer’s Weekend and kick-off conference play against in-state rival Alcorn State.

MVSU will then jump back on the road September 26 to face the Hornets of Alabama State in Montgomery, Ala.

After a SWAC matchup with Grambling State and Alabama A&M, the Delta Devils will host the University of Virginia Lynchburg for Homecoming on October 17.

Arkansas Pine-Bluff enters Rice-Totten Stadium to finish off a three-game home stretch for the Delta Devils. Then they are back on the road to play Jackson State and on to Texas Southern.

The Delta Devils will close out the regular season on November 21 with a home game against Prairie View A&M.

Kick-off times and other game-day designations will be announced at a later date.
