The spotlight is on the Divine Nine in Missy Elliott’s latest release “DripDemeanor.”
In an Instagram video, Missy uses the song—featuring Sum1—as a colorful homage to the nine historically Black Greek organizations that make up the Panhellenic Council: Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, Alpha Phi Alpha, Sigma Gamma Rho, Phi Beta Sigma and Iota Phi Theta.
In the video, each organization is proudly repping their colors as they stroll, stomp and dance throughout the song.
“Check out the full length video of #TheDivine9 strolling to my song #DripDemeanor,” Elliot write on an instagram post. “Who goes hardest?!”
