Morgan State adds 3-point shooting specialist from transfer portal

Former St. Francis (PA) forward Myles Thompson is making his way to the MEAC as he has announced he has committed to play for the Morgan State Bears.

Thompson was at St. Francis from 2018-2022, averaging 10.5 points and 4.7 rebounds in his final three seasons. He missed the 2022-2023 season due to an injury.

Before his injury, the 6-foot-7 forward ranked among the top 3-point shooters in the country, shooting 41% from deep.

Thompson joins a Morgan State team that finished the 2023 season with a 15-16 record, but injuries prevented them from reaching their full potential.

The St. Francis transfer will look to provide the Bears the size and scoring that the team lacked down the stretch with a shorthanded roster.
