*Ne-Yo has expressed his views on having multiple partners, advocating that individuals should be free to marry more than one person.
TMZ caught up with the singer/actor recently while walking along the street holding hands with two partners. Ne-Yo clarified that he’s all about polygamy, which is when you simultaneously have more than one long-term partner.
However, Bigamy, marrying multiple people simultaneously, is illegal.
“I feel like in the realm of love and romance you should let people do whatever the hell they wanna do, can’t see how it’s hurting anybody,” Ne-Yo told the outlet.
“To be honest I don’t need the government to tell me what it is I can and can’t do, coming into my personal life,” he explained. “I’m not going to let it ruin my day. The people I love know I love them.”
Ne-Yo also noted that he wouldn’t recommend polyamory to other people.
“I don’t recommend anything to anybody. What works for me might not work for you,” he told TMZ.
