*Losing a mother is never easy, but Freddie Jackson is bringing a lot of love to his late matriarch with memories to share in his new song “Never Let Go.”
The tune finds the “Jam Tonight” singer reminiscing about singing with his mother while walking to church, according to Soul Tracks. While “Never Let Go” relays a heartfelt loss, it’s good to see the memory of Jackson’s mom is alive and well in this loving tribute.
Right along with Jackson, Club Nouveau has music to share with fans. SoulTracks reports the current version of the group (comprised of Jay King and new members Tirzah Hubbard and J Ali) have aligned for “It’s All Right,” a “groovealicous single” featuring a rap legend Chubb Rock.
The new selection comes nearly a decade since Club Nouveau graced music fans with its 2014 release, “Consciousness,” noted Soul Tracks. The Bay Area collective is best known for their signature chart-topping hit remake of Bill Withers’ classic “Lean on Me.”
